About Us

Tommy Powers (Two Beer) got his love of entertaining from watching his Dad who was the singer at every party while Tommy was growing up. After drumming and singing background in bands for over 35 years, he was told that he needed to be out front. Humbly, he obliged, and so was born “The Two Beer Tommy Band” - a safehaven for all to let loose and sing along.  

Mike Covar (the “Enforcer”) is a veteran bass player who started playing at age 11. A child prodigy, he grew up playing everything from Motown to Rock, to Blue Grass to Country. He's made music his professional career, becoming a bass teacher at 15 and then securing his first professional touring gig at 17. Don’t mess with the guy with the cool hat.

Tim Reidy (the Thunder) started playing drums at 8. He played in multiple style bands throughout school. He’s played in several bands since the 80s, and has also  opened for major artists Rascal Flats, Eddie Raven and many others. He is also a Craviotto drum company artist ambassador. Tim keeps the flow seamless from one song to the next

Nick KB (the Energizer) is a versatile guitarist and singer/songwriter from the Chicago Suburbs. He plays a wide variety of music spanning Classic Rock, Pop, Blues, Country, and Jazz. Onstage he comes alive, captivating audiences with his passionate performances. Nick gives private music lessons, and he also hosts local jams. Working with Autism students during the day keeps him grounded.
